Mandarin Orange Cake – this is the perfect spring/summer cake. It has wonderful reviews and is always a hit. This cake is known in the South as “Pig Lickin Cake”.
Sour Cream Coconut Cake – This delicious cake is one of our favorites! Super easy to make and your mom will love it! You might also like our Poke Cake with Coconut Cream.
Southern Pound Cake – I can’t say enough about this cake. I think it’s the perfect dessert but I’ve loved it since I was a little girl. Not many cakes can stand alone, but this one can. It doesn’t need icing or fruit; it is only so good.
If chocolate is your thing then you might want to try our Chocolate Pound Cake. It has a chocolate icing and is delicious.
Exquisite Chocolate Cherry Cake – This cake is easy to make, has rave reviews, and is absolutely delicious!
Kentucky Butter Cake – this cake has been around for a very long time because it’s just such a wonderful recipe. It has great reviews and is one you will make again and again.
Hummingbird Cake – a true Southern recipe made with bananas and pineapple. This will be a great addition to your Mother’s Day menu.
Lemony Chess Cake – if your mom is a lemon fanatic then this is the cake for her! It’s delicious and the glaze makes it so pretty.
Easy Strawberry Coconut Cake – This cake is made with a mix and it’s really good! It’s a delicious summer cake that you can easily decorate with flowers! It’s nice as a centerpiece.
Vanilla Wafer Cake – my mom made us this cake when my sister and I were little and we loved it. It’s a great recipe for your Mother’s Day cake. I highly recommend it.
Orange Kiss Me Cake – This is a vintage recipe from the 1950’s and it’s SO good! It’s made from the whole orange and has a wonderful texture.
Do Nothing Cake – Just want it? Please! You don’t even have to get the mixer to make this cake and it’s always a huge hit!
Strawberry Whipped Cream Cake – This dessert is made with an old-fashioned hot vanilla milk cake. It is YUMMY!
