- ¼ cup cream cheese or mayonnaise
- 1½ cups shredded cheese (Cheddar, Pepper Jack, or mix)
- 1 tbsp parsley (optional, chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté onion and bell pepper 3–4 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.
- Stir in crawfish tails and Cajun seasoning. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Mix in cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Slice French bread in half lengthwise and place on baking sheet.
- Spread crawfish mixture over bread evenly.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.
- Garnish with parsley and slice to serve.
Notes
