Ingredients for Dole Whip

You’re just 4 ingredients away from this deliciously creamy and flavorful Dole Whip! You need:

  • Frozen pineapple: Feel free to buy frozen pineapples in bags at the grocery store, or freeze your own fresh pineapple chunks at home. Just make sure your pineapple chunks are COMPLETELY frozen before you start this Dole Whip.
  • Full-Fat Coconut Milk: Full-fat coconut milk is key to the creaminess and texture of this Dole Whip! Don’t use low-fat coconut milk or you risk liquid Dole Whip with a less creamy taste.
  • vanilla extract: Small things have a big impact!
  • Honey: Our recipe calls for 2 tablespoons, but feel free to add more if you like a sweeter Dole Whip ๐Ÿ˜€

How to craft a Dole whip

Mix pineapple + coconut milk

Place the frozen pineapple and 1/2 cup coconut milk in a food processor and blend on high until smooth and creamy. If the Dole Whip is not pureeing, add more coconut milk 1-2 tablespoons at a time until creamy.

Add vanilla + honey

Place the vanilla extract and honey in the food processor and blend again until combined and smooth.

Freeze Dole Whip

When all the ingredients are smooth and creamy, spoon the dole whip into a piping bag or large gallon sized bag. Seal the bag and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Whistle Dole Whip

Pipe the Dole Whip into a bowl or bag with your favorite tip and top with your favorite toppings ๐Ÿ˜€ ENJOY!

How to Freeze Pineapple

Simply cut the pineapple into evenly spaced chunks and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the entire leaf in the freezer for at least 4 hours but preferably overnight to ensure your pineapple is completely frozen.

When you take your pineapple out of the freezer, all you have to do is scrape it off the parchment paper and pop it straight into the blender (if you’re making this Dole Whip right away) or into a Ziploc or Stasher bag to store in the freezer for future use .

Freezing the pineapple chunks on a baking sheet will prevent the pineapple from sticking together when you put them in a bag.
