Filipino Chicken Pasta Alfredo – Panlasang Pinoy

The classic Chicken Pasta Alfredo is famous for its creamy and savory quality. It can also get really hearty with our delicious Fettuccine Pasta with Chicken Chunks. And another notable aspect of this recipe? It’s very easy to do!

Pinoy Chicken Pasta

Compared to many other pasta dishes, it has a quick and easy cooking process as we mainly just cook and stir our ingredients together. However, this Filipino version simplifies the preparation of the dish with fewer ingredients but just as much excitement and flavor!

How does Filipino Chicken Pasta Alfredo taste?

Our dish has a nice buttery quality due to its rich sauce. You’ll notice the garlic and parmesan cheese melt into the creaminess easily. But what I like about this Filipino version is the flavor boost it gets from our chicken flakes in oil. These are perfect for enhancing the slightly salty flavor of chicken.

And since this is not an overly tasty dish, you can be sure that many guests will love it! Chicken Pasta Alfredo is already so popular as a meal we love to bring to family gatherings. Just wait until everyone can try this delicious Filipino version!

1. Cook pasta

Chicken Pasta Carbonara Recipe
  • How to Make Our Fettuccine Pasta – You will need 1 pound of this. Just follow the directions on the packaging to cook your pasta to perfection. Then put that aside so we can work on our sauce!

2. Making the pasta sauce

  • Cooking with our Butter, Onion and Garlic – Our first step for this is to take 2 tablespoons of butter and add it to a saucepan. Apply some heat to allow it to start melting. Once melted, you must add 3 cloves of garlic that you have chopped and 1 onion that you have chopped. Fry these together until the chopped onions are completely soft.
  • Incorporating Chicken and Cream – Toss 300 grams of CDO chicken flakes in oil, then cook for 2 minutes. After that you can pour your 500 ml. of all-purpose cream inside. Wait for it to boil, then you can turn the heat down to low.
  • Add Parmesan Cheese – We’re going to cook the sauce a little longer, stirring every now and then. Just keep doing this until the sauce gets as thick as you want it. Then you can incorporate ¾ cup parmesan cheese. Go ahead and stir this into the mixture as well.

3. Put everything together!

  • Add the Pasta to the Pot – Just get your cooked fettuccine pasta from before and add that to your saucepan with the sauce.
  • Mix the pasta and sauce – And then add to the saucepan until the sauce for the pasta is evenly distributed. Then you should round everything off with chopped parsley for seasoning. Now you can just take the whole dish and put it in the container of your choice. I like to use a pasta bowl for this.
