Description

A crispy, cheesy garbage bread recipe made with pizza dough and whatever you’ve got in your fridge — meats, veggies, cheese, and sauce, all wrapped in golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

1 sheet pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cooked protein (pepperoni, chicken, beef)

1/2 cup sautéed vegetables (peppers, onions, mushrooms)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp marinara or garlic butter (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.

3. Layer cheese, protein, vegetables, and seasoning down the center.

4. Fold edges inward and roll up tightly. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.

5. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with seasoning if desired.

6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.

7. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Try different cheese and protein combos like cheddar and ham, or feta and spinach.

Freeze after baking for up to 2 months.

Serve with marinara, ranch, or garlic butter for dipping.
