Description

Crunchy, sweet, and totally guilt-free — these healthy Butterfingers are made with natural peanut butter, maple syrup, and dark chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale

3/4 cup natural peanut butter

1/2 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons coconut sugar (optional)

2 cups crushed cornflakes or crispy cereal

3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Pinch of sea salt flakes


Instructions

1. Crush cornflakes and place in a large bowl.

2. Warm peanut butter and maple syrup in a saucepan until smooth.

3. Mix the warm mixture into the cereal until coated.

4. Press into a lined loaf pan and freeze for 30 minutes.

5. Cut into bars once firm.

6. Melt chocolate and coconut oil together.

7. Dip or drizzle chocolate over bars.

8. Chill again until chocolate sets.

9. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Store in fridge up to 7 days or freeze for up to a month.

Use almond butter for a peanut-free version.
