Peach Coffee Cake - The Southern Lady Cooks

Peach coffee cake is wonderful. Your family and guests will love it. It can be kept in the fridge for several days. You can eat it cold or heat it up in the microwave. I love anything with peaches and pecans. You can also serve this for dessert.

Ingredients needed for the peach coffee cake:

2 (15 ounce) cans sliced peaches

all purpose flour

baking powder

baking powder

Salt

White granulated sugar

eggs

butter, soft

sour cream

buttermilk

peach juice

vanilla extract

Mix ingredients for peach coffee cake together

Brown sugar

Cinammon

Ground nutmeg

pecans or walnuts

Glazing ingredients for cakes

powdered sugar

milk

You could use frozen peaches or fresh peaches instead of canned peaches and just add more milk instead of the peach juice in the recipe. However you prepare it, this cake is a great way to start the day. I think it would taste just as delicious with ice cream. I love it warm out of the oven and the glaze is just enough to take this coffee cake to the next level.
