The Little Things Newsletter #364 – Live, Laugh and Lots of Great Food!

Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I’ve been traveling since last Wednesday (first to NM and then to AZ) and finally made it home last night. I’m so happy to wake up in my own bed today and enjoy a relaxing day with my family.

Tender, crisp cabbage, carrots and peppers combine with hearty ground beef, leaving a subtle, lingering spiciness that leaves you wanting more. It’s a jam-packed pan of egg roll flavors that we love.

Grandma’s German pancakes meet irresistibly caramelized apples in these German Apple Pancakes. You won’t believe how easy it is to prepare such a delicious breakfast treat.

Filled with plenty of fresh strawberries and blueberries, these fluffy hotcakes are heavenly. These berry pancakes will put a smile on everyone’s face this weekend.

What I long for: These Chicken Parmesan Gnocchi caught my eye yesterday and they sound so good! It must be on our menu soon.

What I read: He Who Fights Monsters 8: A LitRPG Adventure by Shirtaloon and Travis Deverell. With the 8th book I’m completely addicted to this series again. It was fun to read/listen to while traveling.

What I hear: dog mouth. This group is new to me and I enjoyed it. It’s Americana meets rock, blues, alternative, folk… I’m not even sure how to describe it, but it’s an overall feel. If you like Shakey Graves, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, the Lumineers or the Revivalists, you’re probably a fan too.

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” James 4:8a ESV

Have a great week full of little things that make you smile!
