Description
A moist and flavorful Starbucks-style banana bread recipe made with ripe bananas, cinnamon, and walnuts.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
3 large ripe bananas
1 cup white sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 tbsp buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mash bananas until creamy.
3. Mix oil, sugars, egg, buttermilk, and vanilla.
4. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture.
5. Fold in mashed bananas and walnuts.
6. Pour batter into greased 9×5 loaf pan.
7. Top with extra walnuts and bake 55–60 minutes.
8. Cool 10 minutes, remove, and slice.
Notes
Use overripe bananas for best flavor.
Store in foil overnight for extra moistness.
Freeze slices for up to 3 months.
